The Town of Robbins (population 1,200) is currently seeking an energetic, results-oriented candidate for the position of Town Manager. Robbins is a small town located in the beautiful sandhills region of North Carolina known for its numerous recreational opportunities including golf and equestrian sports; as well as many nationally known potters. With a population of just under 1,200 and a combined operating budget of approximately $2 million dollars, Robbins is searching for a Manager that has the skills and personality to be successful in a small town.  The Town Manager is responsible for day to day operations of the Town including ­­­­­14 full-time and 6 part-time employees covering public works, water/sewer, police, fire, and administration.  Some previous local government management experience is preferred.  A bachelor’s degree in political science, business or a related field is required.  An MPA, MBA or related master’s degree is preferred.  Hiring salary range is $45,000 to $55,000, but is negotiable based on education and experience.  Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, salary history, and a list of three professional references with email addresses and phone numbers to: Town Manager Search c/o Town Clerk, P.O.
