Mission Statement: To provide an opportunity for local citizens to buy and/or sell within the city limits at a reduced cost. To bring new people into town that may otherwise have never come, exposing them to other local merchants and businesses. To also provide a fair business opportunity to all citizens which may in turn lead to more permanent businesses locating to the area.

Dates: First and Third Saturday of Each month Starting April, 2009
Weather permitting, not to be held during other events

Authority to Operate: The operations of the Firemen’s Market shall be under the authority of the Robbins Fire Chief or his designee as approved by the Town of Robbins Board of Commissioners on February 12, 2009.

Space: All space assignments will be done on a first-come, first served basis. $10 per space outside. Space size is 20’w x 20’d, vehicles must park inside of space. Payment is due at setup time. No electricity provided.
Setup: All labor is the responsibility of the seller. Staff will not be available to provide setup assistance. Each vendor must stay within the marked outlines of their assigned space.
Tables are not provided, but may be rented for $5 each.
Hours of Operation: 1st & 3rd Saturdays of Each month-Setup begins at 6:30am on the day of the sale. Flea market will be open to buyers from 8am-3pm. Please be sure to clean your area before you leave. All vendors must have their reserved areas cleaned and completely broken down by 4pm
Shade Stands/Tents: Sellers may use their own canopies or tents provided the canopy/tent fits entirely within the seller’s assigned space. Lines or tie-downs that create a tripping or other safety hazard or that impede the orderly flow of traffic are prohibited.
Food and Beverages: The sale of any grocery items except fresh fruit and vegetables is prohibited. Any food preparation, sampling and/or giveaway is prohibited.
Prohibited Items
Alcoholic Beverages: Positively no alcoholic beverages may be consumed, sold or given away on market grounds.
Tobacco: No cigarettes or other tobacco products may be sold or given away on flea market grounds.
Trademarked/Counterfeit Merchandise: The sale, display or distribution of merchandise that Infringes upon copyrighted designs or materials, or bears counterfeit trademarks is strictly prohibited.
Other Restrictions: No firearms, ammunition, martial arts weapons, drugs, drug paraphernalia, over the counter medications, switchblade knives, brass knuckles or other weapons may be displayed or offered for sale. No counterfeit items or materials that would be detrimental to the image of Firemen’s Market will not be permitted for display or sale on the premises. No knife or other swords may be sold to anyone under 18 unless a parent is present and agrees to the purchase. No sale or display of any obscene or pornographic nature.
Games & Amusements: No games of chance or skill, raffles, lotteries, ‘readings’, auctions or amusement rides may be conducted or operated by sellers without prior written consent Firemen’s Market.
Hand Bills & Flyers: No one shall bring upon or distribute on the grounds any political, religious or soliciting matter or hand bills without prior written consent Firemen’s Market.
Sound: Firemen’s Market reserves the right to keep sound emitting from any type of stereos, radios, televisions and/or any other sound to an acceptable level. Sellers shall conduct themselves at all times in an acceptable manner.
Animals: No animals (i.e. dogs, cats, etc.) are allowed to be sold or given away on market grounds.
Bicycles: No bicycles, motorbikes, motorcycles, skateboards, roller skates, roller blades or scooters may be ridden in the selling area.
Abandoned Property: Any property left after 4pm on the day of the sale shall be deemed abandoned by the seller. Firemen’s Market may remove such property and dispose of the same without liability. Firemen’s Market may charge the seller reasonable costs for disposing of such property.
Any Violation of these Rules or Regulations will be grounds for immediate Eviction!!

Firemen’s Market assumes no responsibility for any items lost, stolen or damaged while on these premises. Seller agrees to hold Firemen’s Market harmless from any liability or damage arising from seller’s use of the premises and/or injury to person or property resulting from items sold or exchanged thereon. The Firemen’s Market Staff reserves the right to refuse to rent space to anyone for any reason.
